Embarking on Scrooge McDuck's questline in Disney Dreamlight Valley leads players into exciting adventures filled with hidden clues and valuable prizes. The Treasure Hunt Part 2 quest serves as the thrilling conclusion to Scrooge's search for lost fortune across the valley. Completing this mission requires players to decipher a mysterious treasure map, visit specific biome locations, and unearth hidden items using their Royal Shovel.
Starting the Quest and Decoding the Map
To unlock Treasure Hunt Part 2, players must first reach Friendship Level 10 with Scrooge McDuck and complete his previous quest requirements. Once unlocked, Scrooge provides a modified treasure map that points to three distinct locations scattered around the valley. Examining the map closely reveals clues leading to Merlin's House, the Glade of Trust, and the Frosted Heights.
Locating the Hidden Clues Across the Valley
Your first destination is Merlin's Library, where you can find a crucial clue sitting on a table near his books. Next, travel to the Glade of Trust and search near the large willow tree to locate a sparkling dig spot containing the second piece. Finally, venture into the icy terrain of the Frosted Heights to dig up the third hidden clue near the northern corner of the biome.
Crafting the Restored Treasure Map
After gathering all three map fragments, bring them to a crafting bench to assemble the Restored Treasure Map. Crafting this item requires the gathered clues along with Gold Ingot materials to restore its original appearance. Once crafted, present the fully restored map back to Scrooge McDuck so he can reveal the final location of the buried chest.
Unearthing the Final Chest and Claiming Rewards
Follow Scrooge's directions to the Forgotten Lands, where the final treasure chest lies buried in the dark soil. Use your Royal Shovel on the glowing digging spot to retrieve the chest and return it to Scrooge. As a reward for completing this final friendship quest, players receive Scrooge McDuck's Golden Safe furniture item and a substantial boost to their village connection.
